Reign for Change Partners with Necto
We are excited to announce that
Reign for Change has partnered with Necto—and we are ready to roll!
As part of our ongoing mission to raise awareness and educate communities about the dangers that extreme temperatures can pose to our dogs, we are proud to partner with a company whose technology can provide an additional layer of protection for pets.
And the best part?
When you purchase a Necto system through Reign for Change, you can save $20 while helping support our mission.
What Is Necto?
Necto is a
3-in-1 cellular temperature monitoring system designed to provide real-time, remote environmental monitoring without relying on a local Wi-Fi network.
Why is that important?
Because Wi-Fi can be unreliable. Networks can go down, connections can become unstable, and a monitoring system is only helpful if it can continue communicating when you need it most.
Necto uses built-in cellular connectivity instead of depending on your home’s or facility’s Wi-Fi.
The Necto Temperature Monitor plugs directly into a standard AC wall outlet. Placement is based on selecting an appropriate outlet while considering factors such as line-of-sight, environmental conditions, and cellular signal strength.
What Are the Key Features of the Necto System?
Necto offers several features designed to provide continuous monitoring and peace of mind:
- 4G LTE Cellular Connectivity: Necto operates independently using built-in multi-network 4G LTE connectivity. It can automatically switch between available carriers to help maintain a cellular connection. No Wi-Fi is required.
- 3-in-1 Environmental Monitoring: The system continuously monitors ambient temperature, relative humidity, and shore/outlet power status 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
- Real-Time Alerts: Necto can send notifications by text message or email when monitored conditions exceed your customized limits or when a power outage occurs.
- 72-Hour Backup Battery: An internal backup battery can keep the system operating and sending alerts for up to three days during a power loss.
- Plug-and-Play Setup: Necto connects directly to a standard wall outlet, making setup simple without requiring complicated technical configuration.
- Mobile App Access: The Necto mobile app provides remote access to monitoring data and allows information to be shared with multiple users.

How Does Necto Benefit Reign for Change?
Our partnership with Necto benefits Reign for Change in two important ways.
First, You Are Taking Your Dog’s Safety Seriously
When you purchase a Necto system, you are taking an important step toward monitoring the environment in which your dog spends time.
Whether you are concerned about excessive heat, extreme cold, power outages, or changing environmental conditions, having remote monitoring and alerts can provide an additional layer of awareness.
For us, there is also a deeper meaning.
Purchasing Necto through Reign for Change symbolizes that Reign’s legacy has made a difference.
Reign’s story was tragic. But from that tragedy came a determination to educate others and prevent another family from experiencing the heartbreak of losing a beloved dog because of extreme temperatures or an unsafe environment.
Every person who takes additional steps to protect their dog helps carry that mission forward.
Second, Your Purchase Directly Supports Our Mission
When you purchase a Necto system through Reign for Change,
Necto will donate 10% of the purchase price directly to Reign for Change.
That means your purchase can do more than help you monitor your dog’s environment—it can also help us continue our work.
These donations will help Reign for Change:

- Educate dog owners, handlers, facilities, and communities.
- Attend dog shows, events, and community gatherings to spread our message.
- Develop and distribute educational materials.
