Reign officially finished in the Doberman Pinscher Club of (DPCA) Top 20 for the 2025-26 season, despite her tragic and preventable death on August 10, 2025. We are so proud of our baby girl!
The Doberman Pinscher Club of America Top 20 is a prestigious annual competition that is held during the DPCA National Convention. It recognizes the top-ranked Dobermans in the country in areas like conformation.
The Top 20 Conformation event invites the 20 highest statistically ranked Dobermans from AKC competition for that year. The event is considered one of the biggest honors in the Doberman show world. The Top 20 winners are announced at the national event, which this year will be held in Topeka, Kansas.
Reign finished the 2025-26 season at the 21st spot in the DPCA Top 20 rankings. However, Reign’s half-sister, Penny, who finished #1, is not eligible because she won it last year. How fitting! Penny was looking out for her half-sister.
Reign only got to show for three months and nine days before her devastating death last summer. Despite that, she still accrued enough points to land herself in the Top 20. To say the very least, we are so very proud of our Reign!
The DPCA Top 20 Dobermans will be honored and recognized at the 2026 DPCA National in Topeka, Kansas. Rest assured, we will be present at the National and will be attending the Top 20 for Reign to be recognized and honored. On the date of her tragic death, Reign was ranked #5 in the DPCA Top 20.
We have been anxiously watching the results for the season and hoping Reign would finish in the Top 20 to be honored. We are so proud of her!
